My name is Kristi Mickwee and I have worked with children and teenagers for more than 20 years, both as a teacher and a tutor. Many of my students share my love of Mathematics because of its challenge, logic, and systematic method that leads to clear “right or wrong” answers.

Others come to me with an opening line, “I hate Math,” or “I’m so stupid,” or “I will never be good at Math.” Quite often these students have either a less natural leaning towards Math, or they simply didn’t form a solid foundation in their early years of Math. Neither of these have ever proven to be a true barrier to becoming a successful Math student.
